Join the library in welcoming Liesl Shurtliff, author of the bestselling Rump: The True Story of Rumpelstiltskin, a 2016 Bluestem and Rebecca Caudill nominee, Jack: The True Story of Jack and the Beanstalk, and Red: The True Story of Red Riding Hood. Liesl will talk about her journey as a writer, from struggling reader to award-winning author. Miss Shurtliff will also incorporate a readers’ theater style fairy tale into her presentation and sign copies of her books. Books will be available for purchase.
